McFly is a band from London, United Kingdom. consisting of Danny Jones (guitar and vocals), Tom Fletcher (guitar / vocals), Dougie Poynter (bass, vocals) and Harry Judd (drums), who shot to fame in 2004 with his first album Room on the 3rd Floor. The group's name comes from his favorite film, Back to the Future, specifically the protagonist Marty McFly.

The band formed in 2002 but did not leave the scene until 2004, where his album Room on the 3rd Floor debuted at number # 1 in the United Kingdom and became double platinum. Thanks to this fact, McFly became the youngest band to get a # 1 album debut in the United Kingdom, because Dougie had just 16 year old record previously held by The Beatles. One month after release, the band made its first tour.

The band's second album is called Wonderland, released in 2005. His third album Motion In The Ocean was released on November 6, 2006. McFly then gathered all his greatest hits All the Greatest Hits compilation album, released on November 5, 2007.
